All of the Chinese like this festival.When it comes,people are busy.They usually do some cleaning,go to the stores to buy some new clothes and a lot of meat,vegetables and fruit.On the eve of the festival,everyone in the family comes back home from other places.They get together and have a big supper .They eat dumplings,New Year's cake and some other delicious food in their houses.Some people like New Year's cake,but more people think dumplings are the most delicious food of all.        1. My English teacher

       Let me tell you something about my English teacher Ms. Gao. She is slim and beautiful with curly,long hair. She is in her early thirties. She is always full of energy and her lessons are always well-prpared and clearly delivered. All of us like her lessons very much because we can gain much from her lessons. Besides, I admire that she is always friendly and kind so she can make friends easily with her sudents outside the classroom. Ms.Gao is truly a wise teacher.

       2. How did I spend my winter holiday.

       I really had a happy winter holiday. I was busy with my homework and helped my parents with the housework every day. Sometimes I visited my friends and played table tennis with them. I also visited my grandparents and stayed with them for three days. I helped my grandparents do some cleaning and washing every day. We also climbed the mountains and had a great time together. I read books, surfed the internet and listened to music every evening. I also learned how to cook delicious food and how to ski well. So I really had a meaningful winter holiday.

       3. What do I often do when I am free

       When I am free, I like doing sports and listen to the music. I always spend an hour walking or jogging in the park near my house. Besides, I also play table tennis with my friends on weekends. In my opinion, taking exercise can not only rest our brains and eyes but also help build our bodies. When I do sports, I always forget my worries and it can make me happy. When I have time, I like listen to classical music and pop music because it can make me feel relaxed and become refreshed afterwards. I sometimes go fishing with my father on weekends.         My favourite TV programme is "The World Today". I like this program not only because its latest news but also its analisis of our present world and prospects for the future. What's more, this program is like a wonderful window. I can see the beautiful and exciting wold by watching it. It can also gives me a vivid picture of what have been on and what have happened in the world. From this program, I learn more about mankind itself and it can also give me intelligence. So I like this program very much.

       5.My best friend

       Li Hua is my best friend. She is slim and beautiful with a pair of glasses. She is friendly and generous. She is good at English and I am good at maths so we often help each other. Her interests similar to mine, she likes traveling, reading and playing table tennis. She is the most knowledgeable person I have ever known. No matter what you ask, she can always find a perfect answer in her brilliant brain. We often play table tennis on weekend and sometimes we go to movies on Sundays.
